FRANKENSTEIN CAMP BUCKET LIGHT
BUCKET
I USED A 5 GALLON BUCKET FROM MENARDS AND LACQUER THINNER TO REMOVE ALL WORDING ON BUCKET. I BOUGHT THE LID FROM HOME DEPOT--THE ONLY PLACE I COULD FIND WITH A BLACK LID. AFTER MASKING OFF THE SURFACE, PAINTED THE TOP RIM BLACK WITH SPRAY PAINT.
FACE
CREATE A FACE--THE MOST DIFFICULT PART WAS GETTING THE RATIOS OF THE FACE, HAIR, AND EARS CORRECT--PRACTICED WITH PAPER UNTIL IT LOOKED RIGHT. CUT IT OUT WITH A VINYL CUTTER AND APPLIED TO BUCKET.
NECK BOLTS
RUMMAGED AROUND AND FOUND A COUPLE OF OLD ROLLERS AND ATTACHED USING A BOLT AND WING NUT TO THE SIDES. MOST ANYTHING WOULD WORK--SPOOLS, ACTUAL BOLTS....
LIGHT
INSERTED AN LED PUCK LIGHT WITH REMOTE INTO BUCKET AND USED THE WHITE LIGHT SETTING.
I HAVE ALSO MADE SOME BUCKET LIGHTS WITH DIFFERENT SCENES--CEMETERY, BATS, AND JACK-O-LANTERNS AND HAVE TRIED WHITE BUCKETS USING THE DIFFERENT COLORS OF THE PUCK LIGHT AND IT WORKS FAIRLY WELL.
