FAUX ICE CUBES

In this instructable I will show you how to easily create faux ice cubes that never melt using liquid POLYURIA.

MATERIALS

MATERIALS:

1) Liquid "glass" POLYURIA.

2) Ιce cube trays.

3) Sanding sheets.

Take some spare ice cube trays. Once you use these trays you cannot use them again to make real ice cubes. Pour the liquid glass into the tray carefully in order to avoid creating lots of bubbles in the cubes and leave it to coagulate for at least 12 hours. As soon as the cubes turn solid take them out and add a little frosting texture using very thin sanding paper.

The final product can be used in various ways such as commercials, commercial photo shooting, pranks, decoration etc but should defenately not be blended with edible products. You can add colour to the cubes or create faux glasses from polyuria to place them in.
