Emoji Personality Bracelets
I love how the emoji is a great way to show how you feel in a fun and quirky way while texting! This fun and simple jewelry project crosses inspiration from Mark Montano's "Emoji Pins" with a hint from Joann Fabric & Craft Store's "Heart & Wood Tile Bracelet" project. Now, you can let this Emoji Bracelet do the talking!
Here are the references that led to my original take on the project...

Materials
Here are the materials you will need for this simple jewelry project.
- wood squares or hearts
- acrylic paints
- paint brush
- scissors
- thin elastic
- hot glue gun
- Mod Podge
- sponge brush
- computer print-outs of emojis
Prepare the Tiles
Paint the tiles with your favorite colors and let dry.
Add Emojis
Print out your favorite emoji images, cut them out, and add one to each tile with glue. Then, use a spray varnish to give the tiles a glossy look. Let dry completely.
Pro Tip: When printing the emoji images, you want to make them slightly smaller than your wood tiles, so they can fit within the tiles.
Make the Bracelet
Cut a piece of thin elastic to fit around your wrist, and, depending on the number of tiles you're using, hot glue them on and around the elastic. Then, when done, hot glue the ends together to complete the bracelet, adding one final tile on top to seal.
Done!
Now, it's ready to wear! Here's the scoop on the emojis I chose for my bracelet:
4: this number represents the day I was born in February
Aquarius: my horoscope sign
Shopping Bags: the mall is my favorite place to shop
City Scape: New York City is my favorite place to visit
Piano: I grew up playing piano
Flag of Puerto Rico: my mom was born in Puerto Rico, and I was born in her blood
Now, it's your turn! Choose emojis to match your personality, or make one for a friend using emojis based on their personalities!
