Easy Tres Leches Cake

20201015_194320.jpg

This is a recipe I was taught to make back when I was in high school. Not only is it a fun and different cake to make, but it also makes for a good treat to bring to a potluck. After years of practice, I was able to venture off and experiment with different ways to make it my own and appeal it to other different tastes. I have made a marbled Tres Leches, a strawberry one, and I have been able to add different kinds of toppings to it as well.

Adding Milk Mixture Onto the Cake

1. Carefully start pouring the milk mixture onto the cake. Once it is covered stop pouring. Let the cake sit for a couple minutes to soak up the milk mixture

2. Slowly add more milk to the cake. Once you start seeing milk collecting on the bottom of the pan in the corners stop adding the milk mixture.
