Easy Make Cement Mixer

Simple cement mixer. Mixes 1/2 bag at a time for fence posts, concrete repair etc.

Supplies

5 gallon bucket with tight lid. Nine- 1inch sheetrock screws. Three feet of 1x2 board. Drill, saw, screwdriver.

Cut the Wood

Cut three 12inch sections of the board

Mount the Boards

Mount the board sections aprox 1/3 of the bucket. ( It's not rocket science, mine's not perfect) Screw each piece to bucket using 3 screws on each. You don't even have to drill holes, the sheetrock screws drill right through the bucket into the wood.

Start Making Concrete

Put about 1/2 bag of concrete mix into bucket with water. Snap the cover on top. Lay on ground and roll. Repeat as needed. As you roll, the bucket shape will move the concrete towards the bottom. At that point, I turn the bucket upside down (to get cement to top), then on it's side again.

I start rolling clockwise, then bucket upside down, on it's side again, then roll counterclockwise. Repeat as needed. It mixes perfectly.

FYI. I got the bucket free from a restaurant (it was 5 gallons of pickle slices), wood was a curb find, and I already had the sheetrock screws. So it is basically free to me.
