Easy Knitted Fingerless Gloves
Hand knitted Fingerless Gloves. Perfect accessory for chilly days. Keep your hands warm and fingers accessible. Each wrist warmer measures approx. 7" long x 7" circumference.
Gather Your Supplies
- knitting needles Size 5 mm (8 US)
- Yarn - (My favorites are Red heart Soft Solids or Heathers,Heartland Lion brand and Caron Simply Soft)
- Sewing needle
- scissors
- ruler
The wristers are knitted flat in Stockinette Stitch. This pattern size is perfect for my hands, S-M. You can always do a gauge swatch before beginning. I knit mine approx. 7 1/2 inches in length.
Let's Get Started!
Co 34
Cuff - * Knit 2, Purl 2* repeat (2x2 ribbing) for about 1-1 1/2 inches
Continue knitting in stockinette
Row 1 - Knit
Row 2 - Purl
*Repeat these two rows for about 5 1/2 inches*
*Knit 2, Purl 2* repeat (2x2 ribbing for approx 1 inch)
Cast off
Fold the wrister in half and sew the sides. I use the mattress stitch (invisible seam)
Sew 3 inches at the bottom (cuff)
Sew 2 inches at the top
This will created the hold for your thumb
