Easy 2 Step DIY Sander
This is an under 5 min way to make a small sander for any woodwork project.
Materials / Tools
All of the tools can be found around the house!
Materials:
- small piece of 1/4 inch thick wood (scrap)
- an old skateboard

- saw (any size)
- any kind of strong adhesive/glue (i used a hot glue gun)

Step 1
First, take the piece of wood, and cut it into a rectangular shape as large or small as you like. (mine is about 4 1/2 X 3 in) Then, using any flat object, rip off a section of the sandpaper on the skateboard deck. Just eyeball the size to make sure it'll fit over the wood piece. Trim the sandpaper down so it fits the wood.
Step 2
Finally, put glue or adhesive onto the wood piece and carefully lay the sandpaper on top. Hold it for 60 secs to make sure it stays. There you go! Now your can use your sleek little sander on any project. Thanks!
