Easiest Way to Wrap a Gift

Christmas is just around the corner, which means you'll need to know the handy dandy trick of wrapping paper. There are many ways that you can wrap gifts, but today I will teach you the easiest way to wrap a gift using wrapping paper.

Supplies

Wrapping paper, tape, scissors, and a box/ something to wrap.

Place wrapping paper down with white side/ the side with no pattern facing up. Make sure to hold the corners cause they will curl up.

Center your box on the paper and cut the wrapping paper leaving a decent amount space between the box and the end of the wrapping paper (If your box is 5 inches tall then make sure you leave more than 5 inches between the end of the paper and box). Make sure your line is straight to avoid uneven sides.

Keep the box centered and fold two opposite sides of the wrapping paper up on the box and tape. When you tape, make sure half of the sticky side of the tape is on the wrapping paper and the other half is on the box.

Fold the rest of the wrapping paper on the box so 4/6 sides of the box are covered (the other 2/6 side of the box should be on opposite sides). Secure with tape.

Place box vertically so that one unfinished side is on the table and the other is facing up (it is okay if the wrapping paper laying on the table crumbles a little bit, just make sure it doesn't rip). Fold two opposite flaps (reference to picture) and tape.

Fold the remaining triangle-shaped tabs on the side over and secure with tape.

Flip box so that the remaining unfinished side is facing up and the side you just did is resting on the table. Repeat steps 7 and 8 on this side of the box.

Now you are done, congratulations! You now have a perfectly wrapped gift that your friends will be amazed by.

Optional: Remember how to tie your shoes? Well knowing that skill can apply to wrapping a gift. If you want to add a little more spice to your gift you can add a bow on top using ribbon or string!

Thanks!
