★EARRINGS FROM BEER CAPS★
This is a cute pair of earrings I made using beer cAps.
They are easy to make and recycled, so they are a nice low budget present too.

WHAT YOU NEED
You need:
-2 beer caps,
-beads,
-ear hoops,
-jump rings,
-thin wire.
Tools:
-flat pliers,
-round pliers,
-wire cutter,
-sanding paper,
-rubber and iron hammer(not in photo),
-nails,
-dremel(optional).
Not every beer cups are suitable for this kind of work, so you may have to drink few beers before you find the right kind....
If you are in Italy the better one I found were from the beer Forst: they have a nice color, they are a tiny bit bigger than the others and mostly the gummy white part on the behind come off really easy. Also they are green, and if you let few spot of color on them they look really cool.

FLATTEN CAPS
Flatten the beer caps, and remove gummy white part.
Before with pliers, than with a rubber hammer, than with an iron hammer.
Do it gently so they won't brake open.

MAKE HOLES
Mark five little hole in the bottom of each caps and one on the top (like photo).
Puncture the holes with a small nail and then with a bigger one, with the help of an hammer.
Then with the dremel or the sanding paper smooth the behind of the holes.

PREPARE THE BEADS
Cut some pieces of wire.
Make a little ring on a side of it with the round pliers, insert a bead in it and then make another ring on the other side.
Make 50 or 60 of those pieces.

PLACE THE BEADS
Place the jump rings on each bottom holes and insert 5 or 6 beads in each one (I put 6).
Close the jump rings really well or otherwise they will come of the caps, because they are really thin.
