Duran Duran Rio Face Paint 2 Versions

As a young girl myself, I really adore Duran Duran! It's one of my favorite bands and they've become such a big influence on me as a conceptual artist and aspiring performance artist. Here, I am showing you how I managed to do my own take on two face paint designs that model Reema Ruspoli sported in one of Duran Duran's most iconic music videos of all time, and that, of course, is "Rio"! Great summertime theme music video at its best, by the way!

This is a tutorial about how I created Rio's Rainbow face paint, my way. For the paints, by the way, I used a combination of Snazaroo and Mehron Paradise to get a really un-perfect blend of rainbow colors. Another face paint design that I did under this category is Rio's Nautical Version. This one features pretty blue waves with black birds flying from a distance. In this video, you will see how I incorporate my Maybelline Master Drama eyeliner to draw on the birds.
