An easy fashion accessory that takes less than 30 minutes to make!

~Supplies~

- Duct Tape

- Thin Plastic Straws ( I get mine from local coffee shops or Capri-Sonne packages)

- Stretchy String

- Optional: Clear Nail Polish

Try using different patterns and colors of duct tape to create unique designs within the bead!

Start by cutting a strip of duct tape that is 8 inches long. Then, cut 2 pieces that are 3/4 inch thick. Next, using an x-acto knife or scissors, cut 2 lines that create a triangle shape.

~ I also cut triangles that had a 1/2 inch base to create 2 different sizes of bead.

Take the triangle that you had previously cut, and place the base onto the thin straw. Next, start rolling the triangle around the straw. Try to keep the point of the triangle centered at all times when doing this.

~Optional~

By adding a clear coat over the beads, it will help make sure that the duct tape won't peel later when wearing the bracelet. Make sure the clear nail polish drys completely before moving onto the next step.

After the clear nail polish has dried, take a scissors and cut off the extra straw that is around the bead. Then, I went ahead and arranged the beads on the stretchy string and turned it into a bracelet.
