The reason that i wanted to make this pumpkin decoration is because i don't have very many fall decorations and i wanted to be able to decorate my house for fall. I also thought this would be a fun and easy thing to do with a family member or friend.

Cut the Dryer Vent

For your first step you will want to stretch the dryer vent and measure 24 inches and then cut it.

Your second step will be to take your dryer vent and curve it around to make a pumpkin shape.

Gluing Your Pumpkin

Your third step will be to glue the two ends of the dryer vent together. I used a hot glue gun for this.

For this step you will want to get you spray paint. Make sure you coat the whole pumpkin and you might have to do more than one coat. I would also recommend going outside and doing this on a piece of cardboard. I used an old pizza box.

Making Your Stem

You will now need to get a branch. I made my branch about 4.5 inches long and about 3/4 an inch wide. You can make it whatever size you want but i made mine the size i thought looked best.

Gluing Your Stem

For this step you will want to put glue in the middle of the stem and then put it in the middle of your pumpkin. You will also put glue around it when you put it in the middle. It's okay if it looks messy you will cover it with moss. I used a hot glue gun for this.
