Decoupage Mugs

Turn an ordinary coffee mug into a personalized gift using cut-outs from wrapping paper old magazines!

What you need are the following...

• coffee mugs (I'm using white and yellow mugs)
• old magazines / wrapping paper
• scissors or X-acto knife
• Dishwasher Mod Podge
• sponge brush

Cut out images and words that you like from your old magazines or wrapping paper, and plan out your arrangement on your mug.

Now, using Dishwasher Mod Podge, brush on a nice, thick layer and stick on your cut-outs. Then, once dry, brush on at least 2 coats of the Mod Podge to seal, and allow to dry and cure.

Now, you can sip on your morning coffee in style with these trendy mugs! Since the Dishwasher Mod Pdoge works best for projects, like this one, you can rinse your mugs in the sink or put in the dishwasher, and the images won't wash off!
