What it lacks in appearance will surely make up for its taste! This is my go to cake whenever I want to put something together that's both tasty and yet simple to make. Perfect for a Sunday dinner!

Supplies

Tools:

  • bundt cake pan
  • wooden spoon with a round handle
  • small funnel (recommended but you can use a regular spoon)

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix (I usually use the Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix)
    • 3 large eggs
    • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
    • 1 1/4 cup milk or water (I find that the cake taste creamier with milk
  • White chocolate sauce
    • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
    • 1 box of Baker's White Chocolate (170g/6oz)
    • 1/4 cup whipping cream
  • Garnish
    • White chocolate shavings
    • Dark chocolate shavings

Baking the Cake

Bake the cake as directed on the box. Once baked, flip the cake onto your serving plate and let it cool completely.

Preparing the Sauce

Once the cake has cooled, go ahead and prepare the sauce.

Melt butter, white chocolate and whipping cream under low heat until smooth. Cool slightly.

Putting the Cake Together

Poke holes in the cake with the wooden spoon. Using a small funnel or a regular spoon, pour white chocolate mixture in the holes (letting some drip onto the sides).

Be prepared if you're just spooning the sauce into the cake as this takes some time!

Finishing Touches

Garnish with white chocolate and dark chocolate shavings. Refrigerate overnight. Enjoy!

  • I didn't want any chocolate shavings to be wasted, so I put a parchment paper under the plate to catch any runaway chocolate shavings and then sprinkle on top!
