DJ Flight Case
This instructable will show you how to make a flight case for DJ'ing or other equipment.
Why spend lots of money on a flight case when you can make one half the price! or even less!
Have fun building!

Cut the Wood
I was planning to make something like this.
But you may plan yours differently.
I will give you my measurements as I guide line
I also planned mine to be 19inch rack mount.
First you will need to cut the wood by these dimentions:
sides:
2 pieces of wood measuring 26cm X 11cm
1 piece of wood meaduring 11cm x 19 inches
Base and Top
2 X 19.3inches x 26cm

Glueing
Once you've cut the wood, you will need to glue each side ( 26 x 11cm ) to the 11cm x 19inch template like shown in the pictures.
Next you will need to glue the frame to the base like shown in picture three, four and five.
After you do this. as the glue is starting to dry, cut pieces of the sticky back plastic roughly the same size ( It doesn't have to be perfect as the angled plastic will be going over some of it).
Then stick it in place like shown in picture 6. Make the stick back plastic roughly the same size as each template.
After you have done this to each template, you will need a piece of plastic 2cm tall by 0.5 cm thick.
You will need to glue this at the front of the flight case (at the top) light shown in picture 7
After you have glue that... you will then need to glue the Plastic equal corner tube on to each corner ( I used a glue gun ) Remember to angle it correctly so all the corners remain flush like shown in picture 8.

The Top
First you will need to get the piece of wood you cut earlier measuring 19.3inches x 26cm
Make sure you sand the wood to make it smooth.
Next, glue The top on to the 'top' I guess, like shown in picture
After this is Done I made the edges neat by sanding them smooth and putting insulation tape other them.
When you have done that drill holes for the bolts to bolt the equipment in and let it dry.

Test Fit Equipment
All you need to do now is See if your equipment fits....I did for me!
I dont have any equipment for the top bit so Im sorry I dont have a picture with it in...
You will need to cut or drill holes in the back for the wires..
Thank you for reading.

Pros and Cons
Pros:
My flight case was more that 60%cheaper.
You can design it to your needs
Easier to fix
Can be customised
Cons:
Not as strong (unless build with real flight case hardware)
May not be as good quality
