DIY SELF-SUSTAINED SOLO CUP HYDROPONIC KIT FOR AEROGARDEN SEED PODS (ep. 2)
Remember our last Instructable? Yeah, like a day ago or so...
No? Well, this one:

*You'll have to give our other project a look in order to see how we improved from our last steps*
It worked out great! We found out how to filtrate water into our hydroponic system so that it was self-sustained. WHAT.
Well, we created a new wall mount since it kind of fell and ruined the project.... HA (nothing is ever ruined!).
New Two-piece Wall Mount
Well, just like in the last project, we 3D printed wall mounts for our hanging Hydroponic Aerogarden Kit. However, this time, we made sure to incorporate a sturdier mount.
Clear Tubing
Because the lower part of the mount has a diameter that is smaller than the rest of the size of the Solo Cup, the cup actually sits right into its circumference.
The top part is an insert for two purposes: to attach the clear tubing into and to angle the tubing into the pod more accordingly.
Double Sided
Okay, okay. So maybe tape isn't the best solution?
BUT WHO DOESN'T LOVE DOUBLE SIDED TAPE?!
Inserts
P.S. proof that our hydroponic set up works...we walked into the office to see a sprouted leaf!
On-Wall
I solemly swear that it actually was difficult to get this wall mount off of the glass window!
Well, I don't necessarily mean difficult, but sturdy! IT WAS STURDY!
Sprout
Best of all, because a cup tends to have a smaller circumference at the bottom, it's easy to slip the cup in and out. Which is great whenever you need to adjust the seed pod or your plant once it's grown.
*DISCLAIMER: ONLY MATERIALS READILY ACCESSIBLE IN THE OFFICE WERE TO BE USED*
Thus far, this wall mount is stronger, sleeker and more innovative than the last. Keep up with us at ANDesignLab.com or our in-house blog Delabuzz.com.
Keep on DIY-ing!
