Use a straight edge to draw a line across the top of the front of the shirt. Make sure to draw the line high enough so that you will have room to fold some of the material over when it's time to iron. Then, cut across the line.

Place Stitch Witchery & Iron Fold

Flip the shirt inside out and place 3 strips of the stitch witchery across the top of one side of the shirt. Leave a bit of space in between each strip so the top of the shirt still maintains some stretch. Then, fold the edge of the shirt over the stitch witchery and place a piece of fabric or another shirt on top. Next, iron the fold down and use the steam occasionally to ensure that the stitch witchery bonds properly.

Once that's done, flip the shirt over and do the exact same thing to the other side.

Cut & Fold Choker

Now it's time to work on the choker. Using the top collar portion that you cut from the shirt, cut a strip of the fabric. Then fold the top and bottom inward so the edges are smooth.

Secure Velcro Fasteners to Choker

Next, glue the velcro dots onto each end of the choker and leave it to dry for 3-5 hours. You may choose to use snaps or another fastening method, but I chose these velcro dots because they're easy to use and perfect for a quick project like this!

All Done!
