Hey guys in this instructables i will show you how I made this mist maker at home that looks so cool and it creates a misty environment!

Mist makers are also known as atomizers and can be found in relaxing centers these gadgets create a satisfying environment by creating mist from water.

The commercially available mist makers/fogger machine comes with a price tag and in this project, I will show you how you can make the same machine at just a fraction of its price.

Now you may think how this device works, all thanks to the piezoelectric plate that converts water to mist and this module is inexpensive and available easily.

To make it easier for everyone I will be giving more step by step pictures on building this and keep the explanation simple.

If you still have some questions refer to the video given at the end, if you still have any questions ask me in the comments and I will give a reply soon.

I have got this cardboard tube after eating the chips! You may find many chips packet that are made from cardboard.

I have calculated the space that the mist maker needs earlier so i will be marking this areas directly using a pen later i will cut this using paper cutter.

Save the top lid for later since we will be making module holder using this plate and also it is made with aluminum so why not!

I recommend using this shape because it allows easy flow of the flog and gives a appealing appearance and also prevents the fog from direct winds if you are using this outdoors.

Now make a hole on the lid that you saved earlier and seal the spaces with glue.

Add this lid to the frame and you are good to go.

I will be powering this device using an 18650 single battery, use a single battery holder to hold the battery and solder those wires from battery holder to the USB module.

This module has receiving and sending pins, meaning you can use this to charge and discharge the battery.

A small USB will be used to connect between this mist maker and the charging module, use a small amount of hot glue to hold the board in the cardboard body.

make sure the switch is accessible and you are all good to go.

Refilling

The mist maker uses water to convert into mist and due to the continuous process the water in the refill get empty quickly to make the process go for a long run i will use water that will be hidden below like shown in these steps.

i recycled a lid from old perfume bottle and filled it with some water, to the base of this container i added a glass of water that will provide continuous supply of water to the refill.

Connect those 2 parts and wait for few minutes for the water to absorb completely.

How to Use

Using this is not a big deal, all you have to do is find a perfect place where you thought of relaxing, power on the mist maker using USB power source.

I recommend to use the 18650 battery with a mini USB charger this setup will give you a long time

Press on that button and the mist maker will start to give you out that foggy vibe, to add more aesthetics to the device consider using RGB light it makes this look more appealing.

Since i wanted to keep the colors neutral i didn't add the lights in the setup, Feel free if you want to use it.

If you are doing yoga or watching tv sipping your favorite coffee this brings more energy to your living! Give a try building this and i bet you will love it.
