DIY Duct Tape Flower Pen

Have you ever been in need of a pen, pencil, or marker that has style but is also easy and cheap to make? Well, I have a solution! You can make a DIY Duct Tape Flower Pen! Making one of these is very easy, fast, and cheap. The resources you will need include:

• Duct Tape
• A Writing Utensil(pen, pencil, marker, etc.)
• Scissors or Exacto Knife
• Cutting Board(if using an Exacto knife)
• Ruler

Here are the steps to making this DIY

Put down your cutting board on a hard surface and choose any design or color of duct tape you want. Then place 12 inches of the duct tape on the cutting board or cut 12 inches of duct tape with your scissors.

Cut the strip of duct tape into 1 1/2 inch intervals. (Note: You'll need several 12-inch strips depending on how big you want your flower)

Fold your 1 1/2 inch piece of tape from the corner to a little left of the center on the duct tape piece like so.

Then, fold the sticky corner of your duct tape to the non-sticky corner on the other side like this.

Now, we are going to add the petals to our flower. To do so, you put the sticky part of your petal on the bottom of your writing utensil, then wrap the sides around it.

Then you grab another one of your folded petals and place it right across from the other petal on the base of your writing utensil. Wrap it around and you get two petals.

Then do the same and wrap the other petals around the opened sides of your flower. Keep repeating those steps until you have just the right size duct tape flower pen.
