Use a grinder or ,your preferred method to round of the edges. Once the piece is as round as you can get it. Set it up on a lathe and use a file or a metal lathe chisel to true it up.

Polishing

Use a fine sand paper to polish tour piece ( i started at 200 grit and worked my way up to 600 grit ) i did this on my lathe, the same set as when i trued up my piece . But you can also hand sand the ring.

Im sorry i didn't have any pictures for u guys. I did this as a project after school and it was my first ring i have made.
