DART GAME
This is a game for dart players using a custom designed dartboard. I made the board by painting the back of a standard dart board and adding a set of wires.
Supplies
1 Standard Dart Board
Black, white & red paint
galvanised wire ~ 1mm diameter
soldering gun & solder
Paint the Design
The design was painted on the back of a standard 360 mm diameter dart board with acrylic paint. The numbers in yellow are optional and are only needed if you want to use the same board for standard dart games.
Wire Frame
( Adding a custom wire frame is optional, it is useful to avoid arguments about which zone the dart is in, but can be omitted for friendly competition ! )
I made a wire frame from 1.5 mm diameter galvanized tie wire which was bent to shape and soldered at several points to join the sections together. The frame is held to the board with a few U-shaped wire staples driven into the board.
Playing Darts
The finished dart board was hung up with the bullseye at the official height of 68 inches ( 1727 mm ),with a soft fibro board backing and a throwing line marked at 93 1/4 inches ( 2368.6 mm ) from the board.
I have created a game called " DARTZEE" , which is described in the attached pdf files. A score card for DARTZEE is shown above.
There are also several other dart games which can be played on this board described on this website.
