Crunchy Chocolate Cornflakes
I know there's people who don't like chocolate (I just know 2) but if you got here it's very unlikely that you are one of them. This recipe of chocolate cornflakes is very crunchy but it also melts in your mouth... Mmmm
WARNING: This is SO delicious you won't be able to eat just one.
Ready?
Gather Your Ingredients and Materials
1 pound of semisweet chocolate cut in small pieces (you can also use chips).
1 tablespoon of butter
3 cups of cornflakes
Tray and wax paper
Melt
Put the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir and put it again for 30 seconds more until it's perfectly melted. Stir it between cycles so it doesn't burn.
Butter
Add the butter and melt it in the microwave for 30 seconds more. I have also used coconut oil instead of butter for a dairy free option and it works perfectly.
Mix Things Together
Put the cornflakes in another bowl and pour over them the melted chocolate and butter. Stir it carefully so the cornflakes don't break. You will know it's ready when there's no spot without chocolate, be patient.
Divide It
Use a tray and cover it with wax paper. Then grab small balls of the cornflakes covered with chocolate with a spoon and put them in the tray. Make sure they don't touch each other.
Let cool in the fridge for about an hour and they are ready to eat!
Share the Delight
This makes a great gift. One idea is to put as many chocolate cornflake balls as possible in a mason jar and decorate with a nice ribbon and a tag. It will look very fancy and you will make someone really happy (guaranteed).
