Cooking Oil Stops Squeaky Doors
We all know that cooking oil, like vegetable oil, corn oil, is used for....well, cooking! But, imagine if you can take about a tablespoon of that oil and use it to clean off your rusty door? I actually thought about doing that, after the squeaky sounds on my door drove me crazy! It's a tried-and-true method of making a rusty door look like it has been recently installed, like a fresh, brand-new door!
Paper Towel
So, to do this life hack, simply pour some cooking oil onto a paper towel. I am using Mazola corn oil.
Wipe Door Hedges
Now just take it to the squeaky areas on your door hedges and just wipe away. Make sure you hit all of the small nooks within the hedges so you don't miss any of the important spots.
Here's the scoop. The natural ingredients in the oil will help to penetrate the rust and grime on your door, so it doesn't sound too squeaky Plus, the oil will allow the hedges to give off their natural shine and not make it look too brassy once you're done wiping them off. Now, give that one a try!
