Convert Washing Machine Chassis in Jig Saw and Hand Saw Table
The washing machine chassis is sturdy enough to support a hand saw and a jig saw
I'm just an afficionated to carpentry jobs ,so for my needs it's a very useful workbench and was made almost for free,I just bought the 1,2mm iron sheet and a 10mm x 20mm iron tube
The woods iron angle and rest of used materials ,were lying around waiting for it's opportunity to return to a useful life

First Step
First of all cut a almost square window (47cm x 44cm),using the angle grinder
Then make a mark of the same size with the iron angle
Weld two small pieces of iron on the back side of the mark, this will be a stop to the door
Then on the front side of the mark drill three 5mm holes on each side
Do the same on the "cabinet" and rivet it

The Door
Made the door of three pieces of 3/4" wood
Fixed to the mark with two 1" wide hinges, using for it 2 rivets and 3 self threading bolts on each hinge
Also was installed a old lock

Support for the Hand Saw and Jig Saw
Drill 4 5mm holes in the base of hand saw,cut the iron sheet a little bigger than the base, mark the 4 holes on the iron sheet and also drill 5mm holes
Put the bolt underneath the hole and weld it inside the hole,do the same on the 4 holes
Grind the sticking out metal from the welding
Now mount it to the base and mark the sheet to make the blade grove ,with the angle grinder
Repeat all the procedure with the jig saw base

Inserting the Plates on the Top of the Table
Put the plates on the desired place and mark the place to drill holes to insert the sheet's bolts
Mark and do grove for the hand saw blade with the jig saw
Do the same procedure with the jig saw plate
Insert both plates on the top of the table
Then fix the hand saw and the jig saw underneath the table with winged bolts for easier dismounting when you need it

Jig Saw Guide
The jig saw need a guide because is a very old one and it's blade bends while working
For this I made an arm with the rectangular iron tube, fixed to a corner with a 20cm iron angle
Draw the path of the arm, from the corner to the blade,on a paper
Then bend the tube on a vise ,copying the draw on the paper,do small bends while going ahead, until getting the desired shape
After that weld the back side to the angle iron,on the front side drill a 6mm grove,to give the head of the guide some movility in order to let some regulation
On the "head" make a groove to let a nut be inserted, also it has two bended washers over a bearing(the guide properly)

The Fence
The fence is a very simple and effective device, easy to make and fast to handle in changing and fixing in position
To make the fence were used 20cm iron angle and 60cm of rectangular iron tube, the rest is scrap material
Weld the angle and tube iron at 90° ,this is the most important, then drill a 5mm hole at 52cm and tap it with a 1/4 tap
Pic 3 shows the sliding part wich fix the fence by means of the adjusting handle(taked out from a grinder mask)pic1
The adjusting handle pushes the sliding part against the table side, and pulls the iron tube, fixing firmly the fence to the table. This is done by means of a 1/4 hook bolt, screwed to the iron tube

Deepness
The deepness of the table saw is almost 5cm,so cutting both sides will make less than 4"
The jig saw can cut wood and others materials up to 3,5cm,the blade had been narrowed in order to cut curves

Finally
Both machines can be hidden when using each other, the hand saw adjusting the deepness to zero, and the jig saw just taken out the blade
