Concrete Cylinder Lamp
I'm showing you how I made the Concrete Cylinder Lamp using cement. You can make it by making a mold using PVC film and Foamex, and pouring cement dough into the mold. You can see a brief description of how to make the Concrete Cylinder Lamp here, or you can watch a video that shows how to make it in more detail.
Supplies
wire switch, waterproof socket, light bulb, nipper, instant adhesive, insulating tape, tape, circular cutter, paper bowl, dremel, foamex(1mm), knife, PVC(0.3mm), wooden stick, mortar cement
Making the Mold
Step 1. Cut the Foamex(0.1mm) and PVC(0.3mm) plates according to the attached drawing, then combine the two to create a cylindrical mold. Then drill a hole for the wire to go into.
Removing the Covering of the Wire
Step 2. After inserting the wire into the hole, use nippers to remove the covering of the wire.
Connecting Wires
Step 3. Twist the wires together. Also, carefully wrap each wire with insulating tape to prevent short circuit.
Attaching a Socket
Step 4. Lightly apply instant adhesive to the socket and quickly adhere it to the center of the mold.
Pouring Cement Dough
Step 5. Insert the circular support into the mold and attach them with super glue. Then pour the mortar cement dough into the mold.
Taking Off the Mold
Step 6. After a day, when the cement has fully hardened, take out the mold and insert the light bulb.
Done!
Step 7. The Concrete Cylinder Lamp has been completed.
