First, Take Your Cordage and Place It Over the Object You Are Tying the Knot Around
Wrap the Cordage Around the Object (in This Case a Pencil) and Cross It Over Creating an X
Wrap the Cordage Around Once More But Take the End and Slip It Under the X Created in the Last Step
Pull Tightly on Both Ends of the Rope and Your Done!
