Claw Rings
I have loved the idea of these rings for years and have wanted a pair since I saw them.
However, the ones that I found were always insanely expensive (on the cheaper end I was finding $60AUD for both hands). Having very tiny fingers I was also worried about buying them and then them not fitting.
So I bought a pack of 30 metal filigree corners for $8.95AUD
So I thought I’d share with you all how I made them.
Supplies
- Metal Filigree Corners
- Optional: something to wrap filigree corners around (eg. Pen)
- Optional: Spray Paint
Wrapping the Filigree Corners
Hold the filigree corner against the finger that you’re making it for. (Alternatively, you could start to shape it around something cylindrical like a pen).
Forming the Filigree to Your Finger
Gently push the ends of the filigree corners to wrap around the sides of your finger or pen.
Sizing to Your Finger
If you were wrapping it around another object now is when you’ll want to size it to your finger. Gently push the filigree corner ends to bend behind your finger.
I decided not to use any glue to adhere the ends so that they could stay mouldable if I needed them to be.
Repeat for Each Finger
Repeat the previous steps for each finger.

Optional
Optional: I spray-painted one set of filigree corners before shaping them for my Chesire Cat cosplay and waited for them to dry before making this set
