Chocolate Peanut Butter Baked Donuts
Don't get me wrong, I love donuts. But honestly, they can be a huge pain to make sometimes. These donuts are easy to make and delicious without frying! Plus, the pb glaze works well with the chocolate donuts. So, enjoy!
Ingredients
Preheat oven to 325
For the donuts:
2T peanut butter
2T butter
3/4 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp vinegar
3 T cocoa powder
1 egg OR egg replacer
1 tsp vanilla extract
For glaze:
2 tsp vanilla
2T + 1 tsp peanut butter
1T butter
Around 1/3 cup powdered sugar
Milk, as needed
For the donuts:
2T peanut butter
2T butter
3/4 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp vinegar
3 T cocoa powder
1 egg OR egg replacer
1 tsp vanilla extract
For glaze:
2 tsp vanilla
2T + 1 tsp peanut butter
1T butter
Around 1/3 cup powdered sugar
Milk, as needed
Melt
Melt peanut butter and butter together for 30 seconds then stir together until combined.
Mix
Mix milk and vinegar together in a small bowl. In a mixer, add sugar, vanilla, flour, cocoa, egg, and baking powder and mix until combined. Add milk mixture and stir until smooth.
Finish Batter
Add the melted butters into the batter and mix.
Bake
Spoon batter into a donut pan. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly spongey.
Glaze
Melt peanut butter and butter together. Add all the ingredients except for the milk and stir until well combined. Add milk until glaze is thin and smooth.
Press the donuts face down into the glaze and set onto a cooling rack. Let the glaze harden for 15-20 minutes and enjoy!
