Chocolate Muesli/Oats Cookies
Chocolate muesli cookies are the easiest and healthiest cookies you can make for your family!! With just 4 ingredients, there is no excuse not to make these nutritious cookies and impress your family and friends or even treat your kids to a healthy snack.
Healthy chocolate cookie with the goodness of peanut butter,muesli or oats and honey in every bite!! You can serve them baked or as a no-bake treat!
INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
¼ cup peanut butter (crunchy or creamy)
3 tbsp honey
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 ½ cups muesli (or oats)
Few drops vanilla essence (optional)
White chocolate chips for topping (optional)
How to Make Chocolate Muesli/Oats Cookies With Step-by-step Method:
Grease a baking pan and keep aside.
Place the peanut butter in a saucepan.
Melt over low heat till fully melted.
Remove from heat and add honey.
Stir in muesli, cocoa powder and vanilla essence.
Transfer to a bowl and mix well to form a dough.
With oiled hands, take one tablespoon of dough each and make small balls.
Flatten the balls to cookie shape and place on greased pan.
At this stage, for a no-bake version, you can choose to top with chocolate chips, chill it a little and serve.
For a baked version (which you can store in an airtight container over the counter), bake for about 6 to 8 minutes (without the chocolate chips) in a preheated oven (at 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 180 degrees Centigrade) to set the cookies.
Take it out of oven and lightly press white chocolate chips over each cookie and serve when cool.
Chocolate chips have been added only for decorative purposes.
Store unbaked cookies in the refrigerator and baked ones in an airtight container on the counter.
