My secret recipe, combined with my unique method of freezing the dough, will result in a thick, soft cookie that you won't be able to resist. You will need to have the list of ingredients below, as well as other common kitchen supplies such as: bowls, a mixer, an oven, cookie sheets, cooling rack (optional), and non-stick cooking spray.

Recipe:

1/2 cup sweet cream butter

1/4 cup cream cheese

3/4 cup light brown sugar

1/4 cup granulates sugar

1 large egg

2 tsp vanilla

1 tsp baking soda

2 cups flour

2 tsp corn starch

pinch of salt

1 cup milk chocolate chips (can adjust to personal preference)

1 cup semi sweet mini chocolate chips (can adjust to personal preference)

Gather Ingredients

It is important that you have all of the ingredients for the end product to turn out correctly.

Begin Combining Elements

Combine the softened butter, cream cheese, egg, sugars and vanilla into a bowl. Beat on medium speed for approximately 5 minutes or until light and fluffy.

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, combine baking soda, corn starch, flour and salt.

Mix

Add dry mixture to wet mixture. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and mix both mixtures together for 1 minute.

Add Chocolate Chips

Add chocolate chips into the cookie dough. Stir until equally distributed. (The amount or type of chocolate chips can be substituted according to preference).

Form Cookie Dough Balls

Spray a cookie sheet with a non-stick spray. Use a tablespoon measuring unit to scoop up a heaping mound of cookie dough. Place onto a cookie sheet about 2 inches apart from each other.

Freeze

Freeze cookie balls for at least 2 hours or until ready to bake.

Bake

Remove cookie dough balls from freezer. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place cookie sheets in oven and bake for 8-9 minutes or until the edges are set and the top is not yet set. Do NOT bake longer than 12 minutes.

Caution: using an oven can be dangerous if not done correctly or with the appropriate attire and equipment.

Enjoy

Allow cookies to cool for 5 minutes before transferring them to a rack to finish cooling. Once cooled completely, be sure to enjoy these wonderful, thick, soft baked, chocolate chip cookies.
