First, start out by cutting out the shape that you want your main body to be. Then make 2 smaller copies that don't have a head. These will be connected by making a small oval shaped piece of cardboard. To make this, cut out an oval with about two inches sticking out on both sides of the body. then, cut three quarter inch slits in the middle. To finish it, cut an inch long slit on both ends of the oval, these will be for the wings.

Next, you are going to want to make the wings. This is the easiest step. All you have to do is to cut out the wings in your desired shape and size. Be sure to add inch long slits at the ends of the wings to attach to the body

Cut Out the Smaller Pieces

This is the hardest part of the project. In this step you are going to need to cut out the pieces that will be connecting your dragon. First we made circles and half circles to add volume and structure to our model. make sure that each one has three notches so it can fit on all three of the body pieces. Finally we made a large piece that holds the neck together at the end. For extra detail, put more small half circles on the head of the dragon to give its face more volume.
