CNC Egg Holder for Pencils and Pens With Fusion 360

CNC Egg handle holder 01

Welcome to my project "CNC egg holder for pencils and pens", made on the EMCO Turn / Mill 55 training CNC on the Sinumerik 840D system.

I design the product in Fusion 360 and then I turn the egg on a CNC lathe.

Supplies

Piece of wood

Drills and milling cutters for wood

Right and left turning tool SECO SDJCL1212M07, SECO SDJCR1212M07

Microwave electric motor CM16
AC adapter 10-20 volts

CNC EMCO WINNC, EMCO TURNING, EMCO MILLING

Create an Egg Model in Fusion 360.

1. Create a sketch Egg geometric model.

2. Create a 3D body of the egg using the Rovolve tool.

Simulation and Production of the G Code of the Program for the SINUMERIK 840D.

EMCO_SIM_Turning.png

1. Switch to Manufacturing mode.

2. Create Setup1 - lathe contour.

Since I do not have a rotary table for CNC, I use a stop, a vice and a bolt.

We Make an Egg Stand.

For rotation, we use an electric motor from a microwave and an adapter for AC voltage of 10-20 volts.

We attach the electric motor to double-sided tape.

We Sharpen Pencils on the CNC.
