Building Smallest FM Audio Bug SPY Device Using RDA5807M FM Chip at Home

FM-SPY-Bug-Circuit-Diagram.jpg

I designed an FM audio bug spy device whose range is up to 1km (or even more). The audio is both transmitted and received via frequency modulation.

I am a guy who is influenced by fictional movies and series……

I guess you too know that guy who used to wear a black suit, goggles, a black suitcase in hand….the man on the mission. He places something below the table…..

And now he can listen to all the conversation…..Damn!!!

ohh wait…I am not saying that I am going to do the same. I do not want to end up in jail.

But yeah I build the same spy audio bug device, which is small in size but can blow your mind.

I checked the other audio bug devices too available on the internet. But those were quite complex. I mean Circuit, Coding, etc. was complex. They were using Arduino and other boards

So I build this simple and easy audio bug device.

Supplies

RDA5807M FM chip

The audio transmitter used here has a mic and 3 pins as seen in the above circuit. The Vcc and GND pins are connected to a 3.3V rechargeable battery that powers the transmitter module. The third pin is to connect the antenna for the transmitting range to be extended.

The case that is being used to place the transmitter in, needs to have tiny holes, such that the mic can capture the sound. In this project, we have used a 3D-printed case by designing it accordingly.
