Another great little activity to do with your kiddos. It's a really simple, really fun and imaginative craft idea.

All you need is:

paper: thicker paper is best, like card stock or water color paper

watercolor paints and brush

cup or water

straw

sharpie or other marker

Pile on the Paint

First thing we need to do is get some paint on our paper.

1. Put your brush in the water

2. Move the brush from the water straight to the color of your choice letting lots of water drop in

3. Scoop the watery paint with your brush and let it drop in a blob on the paper. We want a nice pile of watery paint to work with

4. Repeat with one or two more colors

Now the fun part!

1.Grab a straw and aim it at the blob of paint.

2.Blow through the straw to spread the paint around.

3.Move the straw while you blow and blow from different angles to spread the paint all over

4.Keep at it until you are happy with your work

Once your paint is dry, it's time to get creative!

Grab a sharpie or marker and draw on features to bring out your monster.

Try turning your picture side ways and upside down to see which way you like it better before you start drawing.

Name him and show him off!
