Beaded Wire Bracelet
These bracelets are so easy to make and look very pretty on. They can be made with objects commonly found around the house.
Supplies
What you need:
Wire
Beads
Pliers
Super glue or jewellery glue (optional)
What You Need
As previously mentioned you will need wire, pliers and beads. I got my supplies from Amazon, eBay and Etsy.
Opening to the Bracelet
You will want to cut a piece of wire 1.5x the length of your wrist. This leaves space fir the opening and closing and can always be trimmed at the end.
Cut a second piece of wire 2.5x the length of your original piece of wire. This piece wraps around the shorter piece and is the wire for the beads.
Take your shorter piece of wire and make a loop with some pliers. You may wish to make the loop not right at the end as you can strengthen your loop if you wrap more of the wire. With the second piece of wire wrap around the loop press down the sharp corner.
It also helps to super glue the closure to strengthen it.
Beading
Take a bead on the longer piece of wire and thread it until it reaches the end. After the bead is in place continue to wrap around for your desired length. The hardest part is making the wire tight ,pliers really help and it takes a bit of effort but is easily achieved. These are perfect to make whilst watching netflix as they require little concentration.
Loops
If your struggling with getting the loops tight you can compress them with pliers. This really helped me.
Wrap + Repeat
Repeat the previous steps until your bracelet reaches your desired length.
Any beads work I have made this type of bracelet with stone style beads also.
Closing the Bracelet
Once your final bead is in place secure it by wrapping the wire around it. Instead of adding another bead cut the wire and press it in so the sharp edge is concealed. With the shorter wire wrap it around the pliers and press it to make shape similar to an earring piece.
Done
These bracelets are so beautiful and unique. I feel like you can adapt them really easily to fit you. I really recommend making.
