Barbie Dream House + Chandler + LDR Pot Lights
The Barbie Dream House is a popular toy playhouse for children, designed to look like a multi-story pink mansion. It typically includes furniture and accessories but this one includes working chandler! This barbie dream house also has functioning pot lights which turn on automatically once its dark.
Supplies
House:
Wooden Frame
Decorative Paper
Foam Board
Hot Glue
Paint
Glitter
Ribbon
Compondets:
Wire ( lots )
White LEDS x18
LED Strand x1
Breadboards x2
Resistor x2
Switch x1
Soldering Iron x1
Soldering Wire x1
Soldering Chandler
Soldering Chandler :
Create two circles, one smaller and one bigger attach the longer leg of the led to the outside circle and the shorter one inside. Add on as many layers of circles, connected them bigger circle to bigger circle and smaller to smaller. Make sire you have two stands point upwards as your power and ground.
Chandler Circuit
For the Chandler, I used a analog circuit, an analog circuit is a circuit that involves no code. It can simply run iff a power supply. These circuits are frequently employed in systems including control systems, telecommunications, and audio and video processing. They frequently alter analogue signals using transistors, capacitors, and resistors and can be created utilizing a variety of strategies such as operational amplifiers, analogue multipliers, and active filters. Look above for the diagram of the circuit used.
Pot Light Circuit
For the pot lights, I wanted them to turn on and off automatically using the level of brightness. I used a LDR to control when the lights turn on and off. Have a look at the circuit above.
Code for Pot Lights
This circuit isn't a analog one. This is a digital circuit, it requires code to run, we will run the code with an Arduino. Look above for the code.
Building the House
Use the decor materials you brought to cover the house and make it look unique. Poke 2 holes in the ceiling to fit your chandler. Place all the circuit in the roof, keep one side of the roof open for the LDR to detect when its dark or light. Wrap your LED strand around the house to have pot lights. Add a battery as a power supply.
