Building on the educational aspect of the BOSEbuild, I created a 3D printable stand that includes a conical deflector that can be used to create an omnidirectional speaker when the BOSE speaker is pointed down. Students can modify the design to change the geometry of the deflector, number and size of the speaker holes, etc. As designed, the diameter is 7.5 inches (19cm) which can exceed some 3D printer beds. Printing at 75% scale addresses this issue with the top of the smaller stand fitting inside the borders of the clips. For those that can download the Fusion 360 file, I have renamed each step to help explain what each one does. After 3D printing, rubber feet are added to the bottom.
