Automated Alert Project

People with Alzheimer or memory disease quickly forget basic informations.

AA, Automated Alert, is an interaction between Smartphone App and smart switch, sending an alert message, which is constantly showed as a reminder.

The smartphone location in a certain area activates a light panel which automatically switches off once at home.

Supplies

For this project you need Olisto App, eWelink App, Sonoff Smart Switch and a light panel.

EWelink App

Smart switch shall be configured on eWelink App, in this project the switch name is "Alert".

Connect Olisto and Ewelink

Follow the steps in the tutorial below to connect Olisto App and eWelink

Create New Trigg to Turn on the Smart Switch Device

Create new Trigg. Please follow all steps indicated above. This trigg will turn on the smart swich once reached the desired location.

TIP

If you are using public transportation don't use the departure station as trigger event but choose an intermediate train or bus stop, so you will be sure to come back home in a predictable time.

Create New Trigg to Turn Off the Smart Switch Device

Create new Trigg. Please follow all steps indicated above. This trigg will turn off the smart switch once at home.

Improvements

Olisto App can manage different inputs and generate many outputs. Explore Olisto App features and fit events and actions according your needs.

Different smart swiches or different tecnologies can be used to send multiple messages.
