This awesome Angry Bird Party Game was an afterthought, after my donated boxes were never picked up. I was already in the works on my daughters Angry Birds Theme Party, and working on "Angry" Pinata when the idea of cannons instead of pinata(s) struck! I decided to build a realistic Angry Birds Game scene, that actually worked. I had most supplies since I was planning a birthday party anyways. The game was a hit and for an afterthought, the cardboard boxes created the prefect prop and game for any theme party.

Balloons (various sizes)

Piggies Defense Wall

Make the perfect defense wall with all your boxes.

Stack your boxes to the scene you like, leave some gaps between boxes.

Fill balloons with toy or candy, blow up, paint faces or points and place them everywhere.

This was an after picture, but i had as many as 50 balloons at the beginning of party and had to keep adding more; So have extra filled balloons on hand.

Now next to our angry bird cannons to start this awesome game.

Angry Bird Cannon Balls for Launching

Angry Birds Cannon Balls: (3 used, but not required)

Pinata Making: There are many different pinata making techniques, find the best suited for you. I used the basic paper strips, flour glue mixture, punch balloon technique. I used a lot of paper strips to get my cannons strong, the punch balloons helped hold the weight without popping like normal balloons. Once you create three simple egg looking pinatas, continue to the next steps.

Once Pinata(s) have set and fully dried, I glued cardboard strips inside for more stability. I then stuffed them with candy or toys and taped shut. Now its time to design.

Design your angry bird design and start gluing. I used red, black, white and yellow streamers to create my bird cannon balls, I also used hot glue for faster drying times.

The game is ready. I made a slingshot but that is not necessary, the kids can throw or toss cannons.

The object of the game is the win whatever balloon(s) you burst or knock over / off the wall, kids get three tries. My cannons were hardy, so adult as well as kids got many chances to play before they were broken open like pinatas.
