An Imperfect Beer

The following steps should allow the reader to draw an imperfect pint of beer using Adobe Illustrator.

Step 1

Using the Ellipse tool, draw an Oval.

Step 2

Draw a second oval about half diameter of the first. Place the second oval the distance of one vertical pint glass below the first oval.

Using the line segment tool, connect the ovals to form the sides of a pint glass.

Draw a third oval below the first and at an appropriate distance.

Select and copy the small oval at the bottom of the glass. Place this copy just below the copied oval so that they overlap.

Using the line segment tool, connect the two smaller ovals.

Using the direct selection tool, select and delete the two top segments of the bottom oval.

Using the direct selection tool, select and delete the two top segments of the second oval from the top of the glass.

Using the selection tool, select all parts of the glass.

With all segments of the glass still selected, use the "Live Paint Bucket" tool to apply beer-like colors to parts of the pint glass.

Add bubbles somehow.
