The customer came to our store and expressed his specific wishes, which we were happy to accommodate:

a stone handle that fits perfectly in his hand.

the stone should be light and marbled

smooth, but also a little "used look"

dark wood that blends seamlessly with the stone

These were his wishes and we set to work_

we showed him different types of stone as raw material. The color wishes were quickly met.

The raw wood from a 500 year old oak tree also appealed to him. The length still had to be adjusted.

then we increased the grit to 400 to give the stone a smooth surface. The place where the wood was to be added, we left in an unfinished state.

the last step was to wet grind the stone with 600 grit. The finish is usually 800 - 1000 grit, but the customer wanted a light "use look".

The wood of the future wand was measured and shortened according to the needs of the customer.

The receptacle at the base of the wand was hand carved and then adjusted again and again until the wand found its place seamlessly in the stone

after the adjustment, the wood was treated with a color glaze and adjusted until the customer liked the color

Please understand that we will not say a word about the magic elements that are built into the wand and from which most of its power comes.

This is our secret and every wand maker is bound by the secrecy of his profession.

the moment when the stone and the wood are joined together by means of an unbreakable adhesive spell is called "the wedding" by the wand makers

the wand has now undergone the final tests in our magical quality control and has been released for delivery.

The customer arrived and could take possession of his new wand. Proudly we can report that the customer was highly satisfied with our work.

And when the wand sparked with the first spell, the connection was perfect.
