Just remember that PVC is only a form of hard plastic. It can and will break if too much weight or force is applied and injuries can occur. Use of content for personal projects is at your own risk.
Towel Rack Multiplier
Towel Rack Multiplier
If you have a small bathroom, towel racks can be a treasure to have.
So here is the Towel Rack Multiplier.
For this project you will need
- 1/2 inch PVC pipe
- six 90 degree elbows
- two Corner connectors
At the top I use to elbows that are attached to a 2-inch pipe that is attached to a corner connector.
From that connector you need about a two-foot piece of half inch pipe with a 90-degree elbow at the bottom.
Come out from the elbow about 2 to 3 and attached another 90-degree elbow.
Then repeat this process for the other side.
This project will have to be customized to your bathroom so the size depends on your towel rack size.
Now you can hang out three towels in the same space you could only previously hang up one.
Toothbrush/Razor Holder

Do you need more counter space?
Here is a great way to hang your toothbrush and razor on your mirror.
You will need some 3M clear wall hooks that you are attached to the Mirror.
Then using some three-quarter inch or 1 inch schedule 20 PVC pipe with end caps you can create some 4 inch long holders.
Just a drill hole in the top-back of each pipe and hang them on the hooks.
I still use this in my bathroom every day.
Door Towel Hanger
Door Towel Hanger
Here's a great way to hang those towels behind the bathroom door.
For this project I am using 1 inch pipe and fittings.
I used three Tee fittings, 4 end caps, five 18 inch pipes, and one long pipe to add floor support.
This project will need to be customized to your door and bathroom needs so all sizes are adjustable.
The Tee fittings allow the towels to have individual pipes to hang from.
I also needed to eye screws that allowed the pipe to attach the hinges.
I do not recommend gluing any of the connectors so it can be adjusted later.
I also recommend adequate air ventilation behind the door or the towels could start to mildew.
Toilet Paper Holder
Toilet Paper Holder
This is a simple holder that will keep your toilet paper off the floor and dry from any water spilled.
I used half inch pipes and fittings.
(3 Tee fittings and 4 end caps)
The top pipe is about 18 inches but it can be adjusted to your size needs.
You can easily stack three or more toilet paper rolls on this holder.
It can also be easily transported to other bathrooms if needed.
Paint it to your needs.
Bathtub Water Deflector
Bathtub Water Deflector
Half-inch PVC pipe can make a great water deflector for a bathtub.
You can run it the full length or just partly across the front of your bathtub.
It can be painted to match your color needs or left white.
Just hold it in place with some mold resistant silicone.
This should help prevent mold build-up on your wall or floors.
