The texture of stage-3 foods can vary from thick mashes / minced or grated (depends on your baby's choice :)
How much to serve:
Baby may eat around 3/4 cup of food around 10+ months..
Recipe # 1 - Rice, Swede & Kale

For 1 time meal:
1/2 tbsp rice
1/3 cup of swede (chopped)
1/3 cup of kale (chopped)
water - 3/4 cup
For freezing : (1 week food 10 month old)
2/3 cup of rice
2 cup of swede
1.5 cup of kale
water - 3.5 cups
Recipe # 2 - Rice, Dal (yellow lentil), Spinach & Cauliflower

For 1 time meal:
1/2 tbsp rice
1/2 tbsp dal (split yellow lentil)
1/3 cup of cauliflower (chopped)
1/3 cup of spinach ( chopped)
water - 3/4 cup
For freezing : (1 week food 10 month old)
1/2 cup of rice
1/2 cup dal (split yellow lentil)
1.5 cup of cauliflower (chopped)
2 cup spinach ( chopped )
water - 3 cups
Recipe # 3 - Rice, Beans, Beetroot

1/3 cup of beans (chopped)
1/4 cup of beetroot (chopped)

Recipe # 4 - Rice, beans, parsnip & red lentil(masoor daal)

1/3 cup of beans (chopped)
1/4 cup of parsnip(chopped)
water - 3/4 cup
For freezing : (1 week food 10 month old)
1/2 cup of rice
1/2 cup red lentil (masoor dal)
1.5 cup of beans (chopped)
1.5 cup parsnip ( chopped )
water - 3.5 cups
Recipe # 5 - Rice, Swede, Kale & French green Lentil

For 1 time meal:
1/2 tbsp rice
1/2 tbsp of french green lentil
1/4 cup of kale (chopped)
1/4 cup swede (chopped)
water - 3/4 cup
For freezing : (1 week food 10 month old)
1/2 cup of rice
1/2 cup of french green lentil
1.5 cup of kale
1.5 cup of swede
water - 3.5 cups
Method: ( the method is same for all recipes )
Step 1) Wash the rice, ( lentil - if any ), and chop the veggies
Step 2) Into a sauce pan, add the rice, lentil, veggies and pour the required amount of water
Step 3) Heat on high and bring it to a boil
Step 4) When it starts boiling, reducet to low and cook for 20 minutes.
Step 5) For bulk storage/freezing : Blend the contents when warm using a hand/stick blender and let it cool down before freezing
Step 6) For one time meal : Add the cooked contents into a small bowl and mash using a spoon or blend using a hand blender for thick puree and serve
