build a nice and easy ring light for your dslr camera

after many shapes in tinkercad, i made 4 .stl files

the first file is for my pendax k-50 for 18-55 lenses.remake this for your dslr if needed

the diameter of the ring is 140 mm

i dont have black meterial to use and i paint it

make two cicles like the pic and cut the plastic white sheet with scissor

THOSE METERIALS ARE FROM A 20CM-18W-220V LED LIGHT

The Leds

i use led strip 14.4 watts per meter, cool white

cut carefully the one edge like the pics (check from the fist if it still works)

Add the Leds

before you take of the paper from leds make sure if are fits nice


negative outside , +12 inside

solder naked wires or use white cables

Connector

make a hole at a nice point for the cable, i secure this with some instant glue

glue the two rings with the reflector and with the leds

this works with 12 v

if you want you can find a DC to DC converter 5v to 12v to use it with a power bank
