3D Printed Pumpkin Bokeh Cover
I just got my Instructables Halloween post card, and I had an idea to really spruce up the picture, pumpkin shaped bokeh! I made a 3d printable cover, but you could also do this with some paper and a steady hand(cut out the pumpkin).
I made a lens cover for my Sigma 30mm Art lens that has the shape of the pumpkin in the middle.
Check out the video on how it works.

Pretty much any setting will work, you just need to have the cleanest outline of the pumpkin.
Put the Cover Over Your Lens.
It fits! It probably won't fit your lens if you're not using the exact one as me, you could also tape it on, it just needs to sit in front of the glass.
Set Up Some Cool Lights.
Its a pumpkin, set up some orange LEDs as the background to your subject.
Set Up Your Subject.
The whole reason we are doing this, the Instructables Robot! Set it up right in from of the camera, so the lights are blurry in the background.
Take a Photo!
You may need to play with the settings a bit, but short shutter speeds are better, and bigger aperture means bigger pumpkins. Play around with the settings. The first photo is using a short shutter speed and a flashlight, the second is no flashlight, and about a 1 second shutter. You can see the pumpkins aren't as crisp in the second.
I will be submitting one of mine to the contest. ;)
