2.3.7B Box Design
I made a box with a lid. Sorta like a chest using the default setting from the gridfinity base I found on festi.boxes.py. I picked the box because I thought no one else would pick it. Then I picked a picture to put on it, put in on fs laser, then I laser cut it out and glued my box together.
Supplies
The supplies I used were a 11.8" x 11.8" piece of 1/8 Baltic birch plywood, wood glue, a laser cutter, and a towel to wipe some leftover glue off.
Pick a Box
First, go on festi.boxes.py and chose a box, once choses go onto the settings and mess around with them. They all change the sizes of the walls, lids, and other things related to the box.
Fs Laser
Second, download your design and go to fs.laser, create an account and put your box into the software, then you can add pictures or text to the box to give it a better look.
Laser Cut
After doing the previous step, put your design on fs laser into a hard drive, then use the laser cutter and cut out your design
Piece Together
Lay out your pieces of wood of where they are supposed to go. Really look and make sure that you are 100 percent of what you want to do. Then use wood glue to stick the pieces together, creating your box.
