10+ Meter Flying Paper Airplane

Hello,

This is my first instructable! I hope you like it! If you have tips for other Instructables, share it with me!

I made a paper airplane that easily can fly 10 meters.

What You Will Need:

You will need:

  • 2 A4 papers
  • scissors
  • glue
  • ruler
  • pencil

Folding the First Paper

Fold the A4 horizontally in half and glue it. Now you have a half A4 but twice so thick.

Glue the folded A4 on the other A4. Make sure that the folded side is at the front of the paper, and that the open side is at the middle.

Fold the paper horizontally in half.

Draw Some Lines

Draw a straight line from the middle of the large side of the paper to the middle of the small side of the paper. Do this on both sides. You will now have something that looks like the second image.

Fold the paper along the two lines.

Draw a line along the middle of the paper on the two triangles

Cutting

Cut along the two lines.

Fold the paper horizontally in half. Draw a line 1 cm from the lower part. Fold the upper part of the paper over the ruler. Do this on both sides. Your paper airplane has to look like the second image now.

Draw a line 1 cm from the lower part and fold the smallest part of the paper over the ruler. Do this on both sides. Your airplane is now finished!
