An easy moist pumpkin cake that takes less than 10 minutes to get in the oven. Cake is great served warm or cold. I used a butter recipe yellow cake mix but any plain box of cake mix will work great for this recipe. Bonus - Not only is this one quick but you’ll only have a few dirty dishes.

Slice of cake shown is topped with optional pumpkin cream cheese, chocolate syrup and carmel syrup. It was even more amazing with all of this piled on!

Supplies

Cake Ingredients -
1 Box of butter recipe yellow cake mix
1/2 of a can of pumpkin
2 eggs
1/3 cup water
1/2 stick melted butter
1 tsp Pumpkin pie seasoning
1/2 cup of chocolate chips (extra if desired)

Optional Drizzle Ingredients -
2 tbsp pumpkin purée
4 oz cream cheese softened

3/4 powdered sugar
3 - 6 tbsp heavy cream, half and half or milk.

Note** Chocolate chips can either be mixed in to your cake batter during this step or put on top after you pour your batter in to your cake pan.

Bake It!

Pour your cake batter in to the 9x13 cake pan.

Put it in the preheated oven for 30 minutes at 350.

When your cake is done, a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake should come out clean.

Let Cake Cool!

Optional cake drizzle can be made by mixing all ingredients together until smooth.

Depending on whether you decide to use heavy whipping cream, half and half or milk, the amount will need to be adjusted as you stir until you reach your desired consistency for your drizzle.

Your cream cheese should be completely softened. If it is not, put it in a microwave safe dish and microwave on the lowest power until it is smooth and creamy.

If you baked your chocolate chips in to your batter you could also easily use your favorite icing recipe on this cake.

This could also be served with a chocolate syrup drizzle, powdered sugar, cinnamon or pumpkin pie seasoning sprinkle or anything else you wanted.

This cake is very moist and does not need icing or anything extra to be great.
