Let's work with the dry ingredients first, in a large bowl, whisk together:

  • 1 1/4 cups of All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp of Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp of Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp of Salt
  • 1/2 tsp of Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp of Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of Ground Pumpkin Spice
  • 3/4 cups of Granulated Sugar
  • 3 tbsps of Light Brown Sugar

tips
Make sure that the flour, baking powder/soda, and salt are sifted together. The sugars should be dumped in last, so go ahead and sift the granulated sugar as well. Once you're done, set that aside.

In another bowl, cream together:

  • 2/3 cups of Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 tsp of Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 4 tbsps of Softened Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3/4 cups of Milk

tips
Make sure to leave the eggs out at least 5 hours before using. We normally just take them out in the morning just to be on the safe side. Once its nice and creamy, alternating time.

Preheat Your Oven to 375 Degrees

Once the wet ingredients is fully stirred, go ahead and dump over the dry ingredients. However, make sure to dump in a little bit first, stir, and then dump in the rest. Watch video above for full demonstration.

In the meantime, preheat your oven to 375 Degrees.

One Last Step for the Mix

bp5.jpg

Once its fully mixed, go ahead and add, 1 cup of Chocolate Chips right on inand mix well. It doesn't really matter which one you choose (dark or milk chocolate) either of these will work. it just depends on your taste-buds and which one you prefer best.

Now lightly spray a donuts pan with baking spray and add the delicious mix right on it. Once you're done, bake in the oven for about 14 minutes or so. Just make sure that they are fully done, before removing them from the oven.

Almost There!

When you're sure, and your house smells like a bakery, remove them from the pan onto a cooling rack for additional cooling. You have the option to eat them just like this: but if you want some icing that adds a little bit more sweetness, head on over to the next step.

tips
Flip them over to see the pretty side to see the donuts look, which most bakeries do :)
